Frequently asked questions
Answers about domestic and commercial sealing, coverage areas and how to get a quote.
How much experience does All Sealants Ltd have?
All Sealants Ltd offers a wealth of experience in professional sealing. Our directors and team bring decades of practical sealing experience to every domestic job and commercial programme.
Which areas do you cover for domestic sealing?
Homeowner quotes are available across South, East and West Wales — including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthen, Aberdare & Cynon Valley, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath, Port Talbot and Bridgend. Enter your postcode on our domestic enquiry form.
How do I get an estimated price for kitchen or bathroom sealing?
Enter your postcode and job details on our domestic enquiry form, then click to get your estimated guide price. Upload photos if old mastic must be removed or you need more than one job — for combined work, choose Other and list each area.
Do you work with builders and developers?
Yes. Commercial clients can submit tender details, drawings and programme information through our commercial sealant enquiry form for callback and scope review.
What types of sealant work do you carry out?
Kitchen and bathroom silicone, render and external joints, sealant removal and replacement, floor joints, and commercial and new-build residential packages.
How long does silicone sealant last?
Lifespan depends on product, movement and cleaning. Bathrooms often benefit from resealing every few years or when mould, cracks or leaks appear.
Can you remove old blackened or mouldy silicone?
Yes. We remove failed sealant, prepare the joint and apply new mastic or silicone suited to the room or elevation.
Do you offer commercial new-build sealing packages?
We provide programme-led sealing for sites and developers — include project location, scope and start dates on your tender enquiry.
Is the online quote a final price?
No — online figures are guide prices only. The higher end of each range usually reflects careful removal of existing mastic, charged at an hourly rate — we take care not to damage tiles, baths and surrounding finishes. We confirm the final quote after reviewing your job and any photos you send.
How much does bathroom sealing cost in South Wales?
Submit your postcode and job type on our domestic enquiry form for an instant online guide price range — we do not publish fixed prices on the site because every job differs. Upload photos if removal of old sealant is needed.
Do you offer a discount for multiple sealing jobs?
Yes. If you need more than one type of work (for example kitchen and bathroom), choose Other on the enquiry form, describe each job and upload photos of every area. Combined bookings can qualify for discounts of up to 40% on some multi-job work.
What sealant colours do you stock?
We use a defined list of standard external and internal colours included in usual pricing — white, greys, anthracite, magnolia, translucent and more. See the full chart on our sealant colours page (https://www.allsealants.co.uk/sealant-colours).
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes, when it is one of our standard colours or can be sourced from our suppliers. Share the colour name or a sample on your enquiry and we will confirm availability and price.
Is there an extra charge for non-standard sealant colours?
Standard colours are included in normal pricing. Specialised or bespoke colours are typically at least double, sometimes triple, the cost — we quote before you confirm the job.
