Standard sealant colours

The external and internal colours we normally use within standard pricing — plus how we handle specialised shades when you need something outside this list.

On-screen colours are a guide only. Cured sealant can look different under your lighting. For critical matches we will confirm the right product on site or when you enquire.

These are the standard colours included in our usual pricing for domestic and commercial work.

External sealant standard colours

TranslucentIn stockTranslucent is listed for internal work where a discreet joint is needed. We no longer use clear sealant on site — experience shows it rarely gives a neat finish and failed clear joints are harder to spot and remedy.

Specialised & bespoke colours

Need a colour outside this list? We can often source specialised shades — but they are typically at least double, sometimes triple, the cost of standard colours. Tell us what you need on your enquiry and we will price it before you confirm the job.

If you need a particular manufacturer shade or match, tell us on your enquiry — we will source it and quote before the job is confirmed.

Colour matching FAQ

  • What standard sealant colours do you use?

External work includes white, black, buff, brick red, mid grey, grey, anthracite, dark anthracite (RAL 7016), Portland stone, magnolia and brown. Internal work includes white, Manhattan grey and translucent — all listed on this page.

  • Do you use RAL numbers for every colour?

No. Our day-to-day colours are named as the supplier lists them. Only dark anthracite is commonly referenced as RAL 7016. For anything outside our standard list we source and price separately.

  • Can I order a colour that is not on your chart?

Often yes. Specialised colours can be sourced but are typically at least double, sometimes triple, the cost of standard shades. Tell us what you need and we will quote before you confirm.

  • Will the colour on screen match my sealant?

Screen swatches are a guide only. Lighting and product line affect the cured appearance. For critical matches we confirm the right tube on site or before ordering.
